IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS:
Space will be free for participants. Interested artists/artisans should contact info@biddefordartwalk.com or call 207.229.3560 to sign up before FEBRUARY 22.

  • Set up is from 2pm-5pm the day of the event.
  • All items must be removed by 9pm the same evening. Hallway artists are welcome to leave their work longer, at their own discretion and signing of a liability waiver.
  • After unloading, you MUST park your vehicle off-site to allow parking for attendees and residents. There is plenty of parking just steps from the North Dam Mill along Main Street, on Water Street and a little further away at the Saco Transportation Center
  • You will need to bring your own folding table/display to set up in a roughly 6' x 4' area. We have folding chairs for vendor use.
  • We can offer a 8'w x 9'h wall space to those who want to hang their work and set up a chair/small pedestal next to their work in the hallway.
  • We cannot accommodate large tables in the hallway.
  • Picture rail is 112" from the floor. You should bring all your own items required for hanging including heavy-duty filament/picture wire. The mill will not provide this. You can figure out at what height your work should be hung. It is recommended to hang salon style, not gallery style, as space could get busy.
  • People who hang their work from the picture rail may bring labels for their work but must use art gum (available at ArtMart downtown) to adhere the labels.
  • No nails, pins, tacks, heavy duty tape that removes paint will be allowed in or on any of the walls.
  • All refuse must be packed out with the participant and not left on site or in venue's dumpsters.
  • All participants must sign a liability waiver and staff their booth/hallway the entire time. We have not had any problems but we also cannot accept responsibility for everyone's work.

Here are some photos of the hallway space. There is a picture rail at the top of both walls.
We ask artists who want to hang from the picture rail to bring enough wire/heavy duty filament, to make sure their hanging hardware is at the top of the piece to prevent it from hanging at too extreme of an angle from the wall.
