We've posted an Excel spreadsheet of our Artist List for merchants to contact if they're looking for someone to display work at their place of business. Keep in mind, we try to keep the list updated but the info may not always be correct. If you have updates, please email us.

ArtWalk nights have been changed from last Thursday to the last Friday of the month to allow people to stay out later and enjoy a night of socializing in downtown Biddeford. Join us!

BIDDEFORD ART WALK is now on the final Friday of each month (note the combined Nov/Dec Holiday speical date). Enjoy an evening of art and entertainment and friends in downtown Biddeford. Most venues will be serving light refreshments. Here is what's going on this month:

Downtown Galleries & Merchants:
Here's a listing of our participating venues in our downtown area:

Main Street Gallery inside ArtMart: 148 Main Street: Group show by local artists, ongoing.

Oh Baby Cafe: 140 Main Street: will be open with local artists' work, live music and other assorted edible goodies.

City Theater: 205 Main Street: is in the middle of the build for "Blood Brothers" and will have the theater open for viewing. There may be a rehearsal that night or just set work, but please stop in and take a look at our beautiful theater!

The Heart of Biddeford, 205 Main Street, will be hosting Dot Starkweather's pastels and encaustics.

LACAVA
12 Water Street: will be showing the work of Lisa Muller-Jones. Lisa is a visual and performing artist living in Saco, Maine. Lisa's paintings are large, iconic faces painted with acrylic on canvas. Lisa studied theater and visual art at the Chicago's Academy of Performing and Visual Arts, Piven Theater Workshop, Second City, DePaul University, UC Berkeley and with The Rob Reece Actors Workshop in San Francisco.

lovinganvil AndMOR: Washinton Street & Main next to The Wonderbar: will present an in-store appearance Loop 243, a percussion duo from Brooklyn, NY. Loop 243 will be promoting the release of their new CD, "Zodiac Dust." NPR's Fresh Air says, "There are action adventures and reveries on Batterie, and it all sounds like part of a well-thought-out tradition. Only the tradition has never existed until now." The New York Times calle Loop 243 "...smart and engaging playing...a compelling performance."

Youland's Jewelry: 238 Main Street: Closed this month. Photographer Walter Buczacz will be showing his work during the Saco Sidewalk Artists sale on Saturday, June 27.

North Dam Mill:
The mill is located at 2 Main Street near the bridge to Saco Island. Plenty of parking available along Main Street and an easy walk from downtown. Most venues are located on the main floor down both hallways on either side of the Union House Pub & Pizza. Explore!

Nora Tryon's Open Studio in Suite 228: Nora will also be showing new work and work in progress. Stop in for light refreshments.

EyeSun Holistic Massage in Suite 216 (next to Brown Fox Printing): EyeSun will be featuring drawings and paintings by local artist, Jane Sleeper.

Fish House Designs in Suite 205: Holly Ross will have her line of greeting cards, some prints and original small works of art for sale.

Main Hallway Gallery
the work of Ken Eason, a member of New England Wax and the Art Guild of the Kennebunks, will be on display. A primarily self-taught artist, Ken has been painting with oils, encaustic and mixed media since 1992. His work was featured most recently in the Saco Museum Show "Heat Stroke".

Between Heaven and Earth, Suite 218/Main Floor, will be hosting a reception featuring new work by proprietor Sara Gillis.

The Sweet Specialist Suite 208: Cookies as art! Open for ArtWalk.
